OK, let’s get specific…how can you pray for the Davis Family?
1. Mike---pray for me as I work with the teams of West Europe and Montreal, Canada on their long range ministry goals. We have a mission wide process we are using over the next year or so involving evaluation of present ministry, 10 and 3 year goals and 6 month action plans. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit would guide the process. Would you pray for this planning process and implementation?
2. Janet---my wife has her hands full with an all day bilingual kindergarten class. She teaches in Spanish in the mornings and English in the afternoons. We firmly believe that God has prepared her for this role in every way---but it is still daunting! Janet is also finishing English Language Learner classes this year at a local university. This will enable her to keep her teaching credential valid for the long haul. You teachers know what I am talking about. Please pray for my busy wife.
3. Bethany (21) ---finishes her coursework at Liberty University this December. She will “walk” in May 2012 graduation. Bethany does not know what comes next for her in terms of graduate school and work. Please pray for Bethany.
4. John-Marvin (19) ---is loving life at Vanderbilt University. He is a sophomore transfer student. His engineering and math courses are very challenging. Please pray for John-Marvin.
5. Matt (16) ---is a high school senior. As far as we know, he is the youngest senior in his class (thanks to life in Europe). Matt is in the midst of varsity football and a busy schedule full of AP courses. This fall is also the decision making time in terms of college applications. Where will he end up? Right now he is looking at about 4 possibilities. Please pray for Matt.
6. Gabriela (12) --- has now started 7th grade. Gabi continues to do well, though Jr. High certainly has its struggles. For example, last week she had tryouts for the volleyball team but did not make it---at least this time around! Please pray for Gabi.
7. Davis Family --- my prayer is that each month we would see one new church or individual either join our support team or give a special one-time gift. Would you pray for our financial support?
