Don & I were able to get on the internet again this morning. I guess the magic switch was pushed when the office of Scripture Union opened.
We went down to Kifissia this morning and scouted out the town a little more, saw the hotel where the couples would be staying, went shopping for snacks, etc. for our gathering, and then had lunch---more gyros!
This afternoon the City Team Leaders began to arrive and by the end of dinner time all our folks had made it. 5 couples are staying in Kifissia in a hotel and 13 guys without their wives are here at Bethel.
Stefanos and Manon shared with the group about growing up in Greece (and some in the US). We then all shared a nice meal together, topped off with baklava, and Socrates from Scripture Union told of the history of this place where we are meeting/staying...
Everyone has a bed and is fed. I am looking forward to a great day tomoroow.
