Brussels to Leuven, Belgium

I am leaving the Brussels City Team later this afternooon and scooting over to Leuven City Team, staying with the Fisk Family.

A day of reflexion and looking to future...

Today is with and about the Brussels City Team. First, we'll see where they are at. Then we'll look at their context and resources. Lastly, we'll look at vision for future.

In Brussels @ Ritzman home

As flights go, Chicago to Brussels is EASY.

I am glad to be at the Ritzman home...

Brussels, Leuven, Ghent, Toulouse & Lyon

Today is my last full day at home for the next couple of
weeks.

Tomorrow I leave for Brussels. In addition to Brussels, I
will be in Leuven and Ghent, Belgium and Toulouse and Lyon, France. The
upcoming gatherings are about long term planning. We will do a team
assessment, context, resources, and vision, followed by 10 and 3 year goal
setting and 6 month tactics.

Please pray for me and the teams in Belgium and France.

Europe Division Leadership Team, Madrid

I am coming to the end of my present trip---whew! I started in Lisbon 2 weeks ago and will leave Madrid for Chicago tomorrow (Friday).

Please pray for my last hours in Madrid. Pray specifcally that needed action steps will take place.

Today I am challenged to ask God, and ask from God, so much more...I challenge you to think through how much you are asking God...

Meal with Spanish evangelical leader

Great meal with Mariano Blasquez, leader of the FEREDE in Spain. The FEREDE is the evangelical organization which fights for the legal rights of religious minorities, specifically evangelicals.

We enjoyed a very typical Spanish meal with Mariano and his wife. In the photo you see a hot ceramic plate where we finished cooking the meat.

I am really enjoying renewing my connections and knowledge of Spain.

Super Bowl in Europe

Last night I watched the Super Bowl again in Europe, this time in Madrid, Spain. I remember watching past Super Bowls in Europe:

• Zaragoza, Spain
• Cascais, Portugal
• Budapest, Hungary

And I am sure there are other places I am forgetting...

It is fun to watch the Super Bowl in Europe, though I would rather be with my family. It is even better, a true priviledge, to be part of God's mission, God's gospel in Europe.

I am challenged right now by our morning devotional. Todd Hiltibran led us through Hebrews 11-12:3. I encourage you to "fix your eyes on Jesus" as you read this blog.
